Delicious, Locally sourced Produce and Freshly Ground Coffee
At The Woodshed Coffee Bar we aim to support local businesses and to keep food miles down by sourcing our produce as much as possible from here in the West Country. Our range includes Proper Cornish pasties, Tarka spring water, Yarde Farm Ice Cream, Cornish Burts crisps and Exeter based Exploding Bakery cakes, all served from our stunningly beautiful position overlooking the waters of the River Teign.
We also offer vegan and gluten free options.
All our packaging is sustainable.
Our opening days/hours vary depending on the time of year. More information can be found on our facebook and instagram pages which we update regularly.

The Woodshed Cafe is situated in Hearn Field which is a beautiful, 6 and a half acre piece of land on the banks of the River Teign in the village of Combeinteignhead. It was named after the local farmer and landowner Percy Hearn who bequeathed it upon his death in 1983 “for the enjoyment of the Parishioners of Haccombe-with-Combe”. We like to think that Percy would be very happy to see our customers enjoying a drink and a natter while taking in the breathtaking views.
Of course, all are welcome, not just those from the Parish and we are happy to provide sustenance to walkers, cyclists, dog-walkers, rowers - in fact anyone who wants to become part of our community, even if only for a fleeting visit.
Regulars can get a free coffee every now and then with our loyalty cards, and doggy treats are always on offer for our four-legged friends. .
